How many galaxies do we have?
I am back from a digital project and it is time for me to talk about my latest color study.
No. 9, Acrylic on Canvas, 20" x 20"
" N0. 9" is another galaxy that I had painted. I am glad that we have ten of thousands of galaxies in our realm, which I find is a perfect subject for my color studies, and I love painting them.
This time, I finished the painting in about two days. The first day was to blended the background colors and let them dry; the second day was to refine the visual on top of the dried layer.
The tools that I had used are brushes, towels, and my fingers tips ( I believe that every artist probably has used their fingers to paint at some point; it is one of the most amazing tool for colors blending.
After this experience, I had ordered some clear gesso, matt medium and color shapers as I realize that I have got the hang of colors layering and would like to try to work on the depth of painting for the next.
