My prototype design after the first round user testing
Mobile device template
It has reduced the length of the template to 50% comparing to the initial design.
Applications template
Re-designed in a way similar to the device template by adding and rearranging div sections for this template.
Member account template
After the first user testing, I re-designed the layout by:
1 . Made the account template to be more compact and reduced the page length by more than 50%.
2 . Added in the recent articles section.
3 . Changed the bookmark display to pagination style, and expanded the numbers of bookmark displays on one page.
Service directory template
I had rearranged the div sections and the display order for each field to improve the user experience and made itt more compact.
Step 1
Only require name and email to sign up.
Step 2
On this page, we give the user options to tell us about their preferences and topic interests. All fields are optional.
Step 3
The welcome message after the user registered. The user now has the option to sign up as a contributor.
Step 4
The questionnaires for contributor account approval.
Step 5
A message to let the user knows we have received their application and they can expect to hear back from us.
